About Ambosstoys:

The two founders of Ambosstoys, Elisha Ruesch and Nguyen Nguyen met in 2000 and found they shared a common hobby of collecting, restoring and trading classic cars and motorbikes. They started a workshop in Vietnam and displayed their restored vehicles in a Zurich, Switzerland showroom.

After they both became parents they developed a vision for creating toys in timeless designs similar to classic vehicles and made of metal sheets that last for a lifetime. The PRIMO ride-on scooter was born. Primo means ‘first’ in Italian and has a twofold meaning for Ambosstoys: it reflects the origin of the design as Primo resembles a classic Italian scooter and it marks the first product of Ambosstoys.
