This Game Goes to Eleven by Gamewright

Availability: In stock

Turn it up with this game named after a joke in the film Spinal Tap. In this fully-amped card game, the goal is to crank up the volume and stick other players with cards.

Play number cards to a center pile, adding up the total along the way. Make the pile hit exactly 11 and hand the whole heap to another player. But crank it too loud and you get stuck with the headache! End the game with the fewest cards and you totally rock!

How to Play:

Each player starts the game with 3 cards ranging in value from 2-9. At each turn play a card to a center discard pile and draw a new card. Object is to make the pile sum to 11.

If a player is able to get to exactly 11, they can pass the stack off to another player. If, however, they are forced to play a card that brings the total over 11, they have to take the entire pile themselves.

There are also a couple of special cards, the “ELEVEN!!!!!” card, and the mean librarian that wants you to just turn the volume down. If you play the “ELEVEN!!!!!!!” card to a discard pile, that pile is considered to equal exactly 11, and you can give it to the player of your choice. However, anyone can play the librarian in response and she will shame you into taking all those cards yourself.

Players race to be the first one to be left without any cards.
